The Good Company Founders Group
A small, trusted group of local small business owners who meet once a month to solve problems, share experience and keep each other moving forward.
- THE REALITY OF RUNNING A BUSINESS
Most business owners don’t lack ideas.
They lack space to think and people to challenge them.
You’re often the one making the decisions.
You may have:
• too many priorities
• ideas you haven’t acted on yet
• goals that keep getting pushed back
• no one impartial to talk things through with
This group gives you a place to step back, reset direction and keep moving forward.

"Fran knows exactly which questions to ask to establish what is working well and which areas can be improved within my business to ensure a smoother and more profitable way forward with continued growth."

WHAT HAPPENS AT EACH SESSION
Each session is focused on real progress
Our monthly meetings are structured to help you leave with clarity and momentum.
Sessions include:
• Goal setting for the month ahead
• Accountability check-ins from the previous session
• Hot-seat problem solving for real business challenges
• Shared learning from the experience in the room
• Practical next steps you commit to before the next meeting
The aim is simple:
You leave every session knowing exactly what you’re going to do next.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
Members typically gain:
• clearer business priorities
• accountability to actually follow through
• fresh perspectives on difficult decisions
• shared learning from other business owners
• a trusted sounding board outside their business
And often something even more valuable:
the confidence that comes from not doing this alone.
WHO IT’S FOR
This group is designed for people who:
• run their own business
• want thoughtful conversation rather than networking small talk
• are open to sharing experience as well as learning from others
• want structure and accountability to make real progress
• value honest discussion about the reality of business
The group is deliberately small so everyone has space to contribute.

Why I started the group
I’ve spent more than 20 years building businesses.
One of the things people rarely talk about is how difficult it can be to find a place to think clearly about your business.
You can talk to employees.
You can talk to family.
But sometimes you need people who understand the decisions you're making.
This group is designed to be a place to step back, get perspective and move forward with confidence. Fran Stobart

Meet Fran
Hi, I’m Fran Stobart - business mentor and founder of Good Company Consulting.
* Built a £2M business from my kitchen table (and sold it)
* MBA graduate, Warwick Business School
* Experienced coach and mentor for growing businesses.
I created The Business Bootcamp because I know what it’s like to build something from scratch - and feel stuck running it 24/7.This programme is exactly what I wish I’d had years ago.
